Wether your a nursing home, tattooist or veterinary practice, we have a solution to meet your requirements. We deal with all waste from point of collection right through to final point of disposal. We offer the best level of service at the best possible prices.
We offer the best solutions for animal by-product and food waste recycling. Fallen stock is taken to be rendered into meat meal or bone meal and food waste is generally composted down into high grade compost for use in gardens and agricultural processes.
The newest addition to our services is our tyre recycling service. All tyres we collect are either reused as part worn tyres or they are shredded to make rubber chip which is commonly used as surfacing for horse training arenas and children’s play areas.
A number of options are currently available to allow the recycling of adult incontinence & nappy waste enabling us to divert this waste from landfill and help move ever closer to a zero landfill future. The first available option is for the waste to be treated and recycled. The super absorbent plastics are extracted and then reused to make plastic building products such as roof tiles. The second available option is to use the waste in a local energy from waste plant. Because of the high burn rate of adult incontinence and nappy waste, it makes a good contribution towards creating energy for the local area. We have the option to utilize the first of these options already and the second option will be available to us towards the end of 2013.
The UK produces over 140 million tonnes of waste each year, Around 60% of which currently goes to landfill. This is an ever growing problem as the available landfill space is rapidly filling up and could be full in as little as 10 years from now. Pressure is on for waste producers to sort and segregate different waste types for recycling and waste disposal companies are actively looking for new ways to reuse and recycle various products. We are constantly looking for new technologies to allow us to recycle as much waste as we possibly can and we currently recycle well over 60% of the waste we collect each year. We aim to push this up to around 90% by the end of 2014.
